Mid-June 2024 saw the 10th running of our ever-popular Scotland trip. We had a great time exploring some wonderful, world-class geological sites, but this post focuses on the wildlife we saw – and includes a bonus geology video at the end! England & Wales 2024: Jurassic Coast & the Complete Geologic Timescale

On home ground once again, we took a group of geology enthusiasts on a tour of England & Wales. In 11 full touring days, we visited a wide variety of sites from almost all of the geologic time periods. Here are some of the best photos from the trip.

We returned to Morocco for an eighth time in November 2023 and took another journey across the High Atlas, viewing many fascinating sites on the way. Morocco 2022 – a photo diary

In November 2022, we took a group of intrepid travellers on our “Trilobite’s Sahara Kingdom” geological tour of Morocco. Our 10-day trip across the Atlas mountains to the Sahara Desert was not only a trilobite extravaganza but also took in a dinosaur discovery site, mineral mines and various historic sites. This is a summary and selection of the best photos from the trip.

Germany 2022: a summary & photo diary

We returned to Germany in October 2022 for our “Volcanoes and Famous Fossil Sites” tour. The sites didn’t fail to impress! Our group was able to enjoy some exceptional fossil specimens in various museums, as well as visiting fossil discovery sites and searching for their own fossils. Visits to Ice Age caves and volcano sites rounded off a fantastic trip! We look forward to returning next year!

In April 2022, we ran our England & Wales trip for the first time. This journey through the geologic timescale took us from the Jurassic Coast, to the Brecon Beacons, up to Snowdonia and over to Shropshire.
