In November 2022, we took a group of intrepid travellers on our “Trilobite’s Sahara Kingdom” geological tour of Morocco. Our 10-day trip across the Atlas mountains to the Sahara Desert was not only a trilobite extravaganza but also took in a dinosaur discovery site, mineral mines and various historic sites. This is a summary and selection of the best photos from the trip.
We returned to Germany in October 2022 for our “Volcanoes and Famous Fossil Sites” tour. The sites didn’t fail to impress! Our group was able to enjoy some exceptional fossil specimens in various museums, as well as visiting fossil discovery sites and searching for their own fossils. Visits to Ice Age caves and volcano sites rounded off a fantastic trip! We look forward to returning next year!

This journey through the geologic timescale took us from the Jurassic Coast, to the Brecon Beacons, up to Snowdonia and over to Shropshire. We returned to Scotland in June 2021 to once again explore its world class geology. Our small group tour saw the first identified thrust fault, dinosaur footprints, the first recognised unconformity, spectacular basalt columns, and much, much more!

This is the blog of our new ‘Famous Fossil Sites and the Munich Show’ tour in Germany, which we lead for the first time in October 2019. Germany is home to some of the world’s best fossil sites and the most recently active volcanoes in Central Europe.
