Mid-June 2024 saw the 10th running of our ever-popular Scotland trip. We had a great time exploring some wonderful, world-class geological sites, but this post focuses on the wildlife we saw – and includes a bonus geology video at the end! Scotland 2023: The Birth of Geology

In June 2023, we returned to Scotland to run our ‘Birth of Geology’ tour. We were very fortunate with the weather and we saw a wide variety of geological sites, including Hutton’s Unconformity at Siccar Point, arguably the most important geological site in the world…! Scotland 2019

In July 2019 we led our Geology of Scotland tour for the fourth time. Scotland has incredibly diverse geology – it was here that the enormity of geological time was first envisaged, the first attempts to measure the mass of the Earth were made, Thrust Faults were discovered and middle Jurassic Dinosaurs roamed.
