Scotland May 2022: a photo diary
A selection of the best photos from our May 2022 Scotland trip. We were treated to some wonderful geological highlights, including Siccar Point, the Ardnmurchan Volcano and the iconic Fingal’s Cave.
Scotland 2021
We returned to Scotland in June 2021 to once again explore its world class geology. Our small group tour saw the first identified thrust fault, dinosaur footprints, the first recognised unconformity, spectacular basalt columns, and much, much more!
Namibia 2019: A Geological Safari
In March 2019, we completed our first ever geological tour of Namibia. The tour was led by German/Namibian geologist Nicole Grünert, and co-led by GeoWorld Travel’s Director, James Cresswell. The 15-day tour was a great success and visited the geological highlights in the north of the country.
