We returned to Iceland in September 2021 to once again explore its world class geology. Our small group tour visited many of Iceland’s fantastic geosites, but the highlight has to have been the currently erupting Fagradalsfjall volcano – what a treat!

Oman 2020: Ocean Crust and Mountains of Mantle
In March 2020 we returned to Oman, once again, to visit the country’s geological gems. Focusing primarily on the north of the country, the tour was led by GeoWorld Travel’s Director, James Cresswell, with support from local company, Golden Highlands.
