In March 2020 we returned to Oman, once again, to visit the country’s geological gems. Focusing primarily on the north of the country, the tour was led by GeoWorld Travel’s Director, James Cresswell, with support from local company, Golden Highlands.

This is the blog of our new ‘Famous Fossil Sites and the Munich Show’ tour in Germany, which we lead for the first time in October 2019. Germany is home to some of the world’s best fossil sites and the most recently active volcanoes in Central Europe.
Italy 2019
This is a blog of our Classic Volcanoes of Italy tour, which we lead for the third time in October 2019. Italy is a volcanically active country, containing the only active volcanoes in mainland Europe.
ICELAND 2019
This is a blog of our Geology of Iceland tour, which we lead for the fourth time in September 2019. Iceland is one of the world’s most spectacular geological destinations, with volcanoes, rifting crust, glaciers and waterfalls.
